About me: I am the eldest of four children. I have been a babysitter on and off for most of my teens, from newborns and up. I have always been involved with children, being one of the older girls on my street I spent a lot of time supervising my younger siblings and their friends. In my later teens, I volunteered coaching girls soccer, and spent every summer refereeing soccer games for boys and girls, ages 8 to 13. Needless to say, I have had a lot of experience with children. Since January 2010, I have been visiting my family in Florida, to help care for my 2 cousins ages 4 and 6. Aside from child care, I have a passion for animals, reading, sports, nature and exploring different cultures. I play soccer, and enjoy football, rugby, swimming and most other sports. I love animals, and really enjoy volunteering with them when I have the chance. I find caring for children and animals to be quite rewarding. Both depend on you to do things for them that they could not otherwise do on their own. Whether it is accompanying a child to the playground, making them a sandwich or nursing a newborn animal, caring for things is something I truly enjoy doing and am very passionate about.
