Hello, my name is Claire and I am 18 years old and from England. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care Learning and Development so I am qualified as a nanny, classroom assitant and nursery worker etc. During my time on my course I had experience 2 days a week for 2 years in a range of placements with children ages 0-8 years old, although my qualification allows me to work with children up to the age of 16. I am also a qualified First Aider and have learnt about many different things regarding childrens health, development, learning and of course how important it is to play and have fun with the children! I am honest, reliable and respectful. I understand about individual needs and I enjoy meeting them. I love to care foor children and make them feel valued and have good self esteem. I like to plan activities and have spontaenous play, I know about children's developmental milestones and how these can be met. I am also an open person and a good listener. I love learning new things such as new cooking recipies, the outdoors, games, nature and creative activities. I am kind and hardworking, I enjoy light housework and I like encouraging children to have fun with it too! I am looking forward to discovering a new culture and country.
