I want to be an AuPair because I want to spend my future with children, probably do an apprenticeship in a child-related calling, and later be a mother myself. By being an AuPair, I want to practice working with children and keep learning. Since my boyfriend is going to do his studies in New York City for a year, I intend to follow him and also using my time in a good way, wanting to make experiences with childcare. Since I'd like to see my boyfriend once a week if it can be reconciled with the host families needs, I would prefer a location close to NYC. I would be glad to hear from you!
